Visit patient on site
Lisa is a general practitioner and visit some patient on site, twice a week
She is using BlueChatCal Mobile app on a smartphone and sometimes a portable PC and/or a tablet. She can use simultaneously these devices as she prefers to take pictures with her smartphone and type text on the PC or tablet, the most practical device on purpose.
BlueChatCal consultation event has 5 major life cycles:
- Plan and schedule: Lisa received some requests, that she confirms and since she is in the area she takes the opportunity to visit other patients. She use the “consultation” template
- Before the visit she prepares for each visit the needed documents of the patients dossier, protocol…
- During each consultation she captures all elements
- After the visits she debriefs, refines the collected information, takes the needed futur action and terminate each visit
- Close and archive the visits
The days before
Lisa prepares all the medical “on site” visits
Dr Lisa has received the request for medical visit or created the various visit event using the “MedVisit” event template.
She organizes her trip and for each event confirms the scheduled hour, invites the patient and the needed persons (mandatory, optional or for info)
During the preceding day, Dr. Lisa prepares the various consultations of the day, She
- Selects in the needed patient dossier the information to embark, resume of last consultations
- For a complex case, she finds a protocol that she records, either as a full page or as an internet address (attached to the dossier)
- For another visit, she invites a specialist to participate remotely in the consultation
- When she is in the medical center she can
- Invite nurse, assistant and needed medical staff to be ready
- Reserve the needed room, logistics and set reminders not to forget a special equipment
- Warn the social service care giver that she will visit this patient, she might get a direct feed back and ask for any additional report
The medical “Medvisit” template, permit her to travel light without the burden to loose her devices, patient information and infringe health secrecy
This templates uses the mobile rights to make sure that
- the information of the visit is securely deleted when she is out of safe zone.
- Arriving at patient location, ChatCal synchronizes and let display the embarked selected Patient dossier information
- Leaving the patient location, ChatCal synchronizes the patient dossier with BlueSafe and deletes securely the embarked patient dossier
During each consultation
she screens the patient
When Dr. Lisa begins the consultation, she set the event as active
During the consultation, she has access to the embarked dossier and she
- records
- the patient interview
- her observations
- captures multimedia informations
- from medical devices and/or IOT (fever, cardio, glycemic…),
- takes photos of a wound, video of a limp
- to improve diagnostic, she collaborates with
- remote invited specialist in sharing, relevant information, discuss in chat, receive contribution and conclusion
- Diagnostic AI and learning machines to refine diagnostics while on site
- Type or dictates the diagnostic (as draft)
- Creates a sub prescription event using the temple
- Generates future medical events request as a bio exam, radio…using templates
- when she leaves the patient, she closes the consultation event, ChatCal synchronizes all its information with BlueSafe and deletes them securely from the participating devices, she will travel light
After the consultations
Debrief and finalize
- Finalizes the conclusions, diagnostics and prescriptions
- Record personal remarks that won’t be shared
- Generates future medical events (consultation, exam, drug-prescription…) and invite concerned persons
- Transfers the various consultation outcomes with the other health actors,
- Diagnostics with specialist
- Drug prescription to patient and eventually to the pharmacy of the patient (drug to be prepared for pick up or delivery at patient’s home
- Generate outcoming health events, as visit, exam, reminders, task…
- Reserve a bio exam for a patient
- Request for future consultation on behalf of the patient, with her outcomes
- Enrich research database with anonymous health case
- Report an adverse case to a pharma industry
- Administrative information with her medical assistant are automatically saved and sent
- Billing information with insurances…
- Record expenses (travel, on site time…)
When she has terminated, she close the consultation events. ChatCal mobile app
- Archives the medical event and its information and documents in the BlueSafe digital record management
- Erases securely the data from all the mobile devices
Dr Lisa can continue her day trip and consult the next patients.
Returning at home or next day in her office she can finalize the remaing unfinished medical visits, if any.
