Life cycle

An event has different life cycles.depending on its type.

For instance a meeting might have the following life cycles

  • Plan the meeting: prepare agenda, invitation document, list of invitees, get approval on list and agenda, reserve the room and send invitations
  • Invite and manage participants: let the invitees respond, prepare the logistics, refine the given roles
  • Prepare the meeting: refine the agenda as per participants’ comments, order coffee break and logistics
  • Run the meeting: set the event as active, capture information, let the participants contribute, moderate contributions, decide on further actions, create sub-events
  • Debrief the meeting: close the meeting, Refine the created sub-events, prepare the outcomes, distribute the minutes, send the outcomes
  • Terminate the event: participant can comments and refine with you sub events or outcomes
  • Archive the event: the event is archived in BlueSafe and its content securely deleted in all participating devices. information remains accessible in BlueSafe for its participants and authorized perosns as auditors, inpectorate

Changing of cycle

At beginning or ending a life cycle, it is a good time to :

  • Send documents, force reception of information
  • Change role of participants and their rights
  • Perform controls and actions
  • Exchange data with your Information System using the non intrusive integration with IS and its message queuing system solution,

Parameter Life Cycle

When designing a workflow, you will appreciate to be able to design the event life cycle. At decision phase of an event (active, debrief, closing steps) might the ideal moment to let the owner choose the next event of your workflow.

The life cycle is the ideal place to set condition of :

  • forking the workflow (running next events in parallel)
  • joining events (merge of events) in a workflow
  • exchange data with your IS, verify in IS, run or plan a transaction in IS
  • change role of participants
